Wezesha, meaning “Empower” in Swahili, is on a mission to empower citizens and governments to improve public services through digital citizen feedback platforms.
By enabling citizens to have a say, building government partnerships and utilising scalable & cost effective digital technologies, these platforms can ultimately improve government effectiveness and make services better for the people who need them. Wezesha is currently supporting the government of Tanzania with improving their public services, starting with the healthcare sector
By empowering people to master the menopause, and more broadly their hormones, through education and evidence-based treatment, Newson are hoping to vastly reduce the debilitating symptoms experienced by over 80% of women, as well as the billions lost to the UK economy each year due to the current 14 million work days going unworked.
And Rising’s task was to develop a brand that felt accessible for all, appealing to both government decision makers and citizens alike, leaning on the digital nature of the product to convey their core value proposition - developing anonymous, free, SMS based feedback systems, gathering the opinions of millions of people affected by public services. The logomark references both the speech bubble associated with texting platforms and a joyful face - the ultimate benefit of improving healthcare and other government services. The vibrant orange colour palette connotes optimism, determination and transformation.
